Thackray Crane Supports Operation Safe Driver Week: July 13–19, 2025

At Thackray Crane, safety is more than a policy—it’s a culture we live and breathe every day. That’s why we’re proud to stand behind Operation Safe Driver Week, taking place this year from July 13–19, 2025. This annual safety initiative, spearheaded by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) in partnership with law enforcement across North America, is aimed at improving driving behaviors through heightened education and enforcement.

This year’s focus? Speeding—a critical issue that continues to be a leading cause of crashes and fatalities on our roads. Law enforcement will be paying close attention to both commercial drivers and passenger vehicle operators who are driving aggressively, exceeding speed limits, or failing to obey traffic laws.

Why It Matters to Thackray

As a company operating heavy equipment and large commercial vehicles in high-traffic areas and complex job sites, we understand the life-or-death importance of safe driving practices.
