Thackray Crane Rental continues to be a proud sponsor of Preston & Steve’s Camp Out for Hunger. Join us to support Philabundance in their mission to drive hunger from our community with Preston & Steve’s 24th annual drive at Xfinity Live! from today through Friday, every day from 6 AM until 11 AM. The event is being held a little earlier this year, so we’re counting on you to help us spread the word.
MOST NEEDED ITEMS:
- Creamy peanut butter (Plastic containers only)
- Canned/shelf-stable meats (Including tuna)
- Shelf-stable white milk
- Canned beef stew
- Canned chili
- Breakfast cereal or hot cereal
- Nuts/ trail mix
- Whole wheat pasta
- Brown Rice
- Jelly (Plastic containers only)
- Canned fruits & vegetables (low salt, no high fructose corn syrup)
- Only boxes, cans, plastic containers or non-breakable jars and which do not have to be refrigerated can be collected.
PLEASE DO NOT DONATE:
- Beverages of any kind, including bottled water, juice or sugary drinks
- Potato chips, cookies and other unhealthy snacksSeasonal Items (i.e. cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie mix, peppermint flavored items, holiday-themed items
- Bread and baked goods (which go bad quickly)
- Donors are welcome inside the Bimbo Bakeries USA Broadcast Tent this year. Please note, space is limited, as it’s standing room only, and masks are required regardless of vaccination status.
